Well that was a cheesy title. I am completely sick right now so I apologize if this starts turning into a crazy post!
The new year is coming! Goodbye 2015 and hello 2016! This time of the year is always the time of reflecting about what you have done and how you lived your life for the year. I personally feel like time has been slipping away super fast.
This year has been full of new discoveries. I am in college and I feel like the biggest thing that happens from being in college is the aspect of self discovery. I have found what my dream is (to work at Disney) and I have found myself, and the best version of myself. I think I have found the person I want to be. People are always complementing me on my personality and how nice I am and that is all I have ever wanted. I want to be seen in a positive way and to be friends with everyone I meet.
There have definitely been some hard times through the year though. School had stressed me out to no end. Having to get better grades and find time to be normal with friends. I have entered in awkward situations that definitely should have been handled better. I own up to that and I have found peace with everything because I don't want to hold onto the negative things.
I have found a dance group besides Elluminate where I can be myself and everyone accepts me for it. Everyone there are so amazing and I have never met such fun and talented people! You know who you are!
I know that there will always be hard times and times that I would never want to replay but there have been some absolutely wonderful times and I am very thankful for those and for God putting me through what he felt was best for the year!
Cant wait for whats next..
Until next time,

Inspiration In The Rarest Form.
There are a lot of things in our lives that require us to have some inspiration. I know for me I love to dance and to choreograph, but I would never be able to do that fully without some kind of inspiration in my life. I would never appreciate the way I dance as much if I didn't find what would make me feel the most into it and the most happy.
In all the dances I have made up they have had some form of inspiration to it. I have some sad dances that come from a deeper place in my heart. Even though I feel those things and experience hard times, its hard for me to dig to that spot and invite others in. Thats why when you do see those kind of dances, you know I must have been feeling a lot. It will just explode into a dance that I never knew I would create.
I have the cheerful dances that are basically inspired by the people in my life. I have met and know some of the most wonderful people ever. Even the people that have drifted away and I don't talk to give me inspiration. I am someone that loves everyone for who they are. When they share who they are it makes me want to be who I am and thats a wonderful feeling when you can vibe of off someone else's joy.
Inspiration feels very tricky to find at times. You will have a moment of really needing and wanting that inspiration but it will feel like its not ever coming. It will sneak up on you when you least expect it and it can be fun and confusing at the same time. Even with these blogs, I can't just post something because I feel its been awhile, I have to be inspired and I have to feel like this is a topic people need to hear and talk about.
Inspiration is your friend. Don't ignore it.... Welcome it!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Making Changes
Hi everyone! So as it is 11:21 pm right now I would just like to say sorry for whatever is about to be put in this blog... A bunch of randomness thats for sure... haha!
So for the past 3 days I have literally been painting my room. It use to be a hot pink on all four walls but it just got too much! My face would literally turn pink from it! haha! I decided to go with grey and just paint 3 of the walls so that I could leave one pink and it would be super cute! haha! Now here is a little tip for anyone that wants to put grey in their room... Prepare for it to look blue. Oh my goodness I can't even tell you how stressful grey is. I chose 3 different light greys and they literally all looked blue! AHHH!
I chose one that had a silver tint to it so that it would be at least an interesting blue! haha!
When I look around my room right now, I think the reason why I wanted to paint my room and move my furniture around is because I need some changes in my life. I am growing up and becoming a more mature person and I need a room to reflect that. I use to have billions of Justin Bieber posters and while I still love him with my whole heart, I needed them to go because I wanted my room to be more adult and less high school.
I have become more confident in myself and I have become the best version of myself. I have realized what I want and just what path my life is suppose to be on. I wanted a room to reflect that and to continue to inspire me everyday. I am in love with it right now and it is going to get even better because I am adding a couple huge dance mirrors and a ballet barre. I have always wanted that and it is the right time now for sure. Its going to get me closer to my dream!
UPDATE: Amy, Andrew and I are still working on the disney audition. Even if we don't get to this one it is super exciting to realize that we will be together in it for any audition that we go to! The 3 musketeers! WOOO!

Fighting For What You Want.
We all want something in our lives. We all have events that happen that change things. We all have friendships that go bad. All these things that happen in life require us to put some effort into them... requires a little fight.
If you want a friendship to work, you have to work at it. You have to be able to get through the hard times and not give up because it turned a little harder. There will always be drama and something happening that causes a disagreement, but thats when you have to take a step back and realize that you can't just give up. If you don't fight for that relationship, how do you expect the other person to?
If you want a dream to become a reality, you have to put your all into it. You cannot just kind of do something. Its like with my dancing. I want to dance forever and find a career out of it, but I can't expect to be able to do that without being in classes and training. Technique and training is everything out there! It's definitely hard to have to put myself in situations where I know I am not the best and there are girls around me that are just like me, but nothing good is ever easy.
If you want people to see the real you and for people to like you, you have to be just that... the real you. People will love you more if you show them your unique and genuine self. You will find that more people like you when you let them in and communicate and be your 100% self. If you are being what you think others want, people will have a hard time liking you and also you will have a hard time as well because its much simpler and easier to be yourself.
If you want people to see you as an adult and as mature, then be just that. Be mature and grown up in any situation you face. Being an adult is verrrrrryyyy hard. You have more responsibilities and you have to handle the things that happen as an adult would.. which is not always easy. But being an adult also has the best rewards to it. You get to do more things and you are given more respect then you did when you were younger.
Life can be the hardest thing you do... But when you fight for everything you want within that life... It will be the best life... one that you are proud of.
Fight for what you want.
Little update: So the audition I was talking about a few blogs ago for Disney might really be happening! But to make it even more exciting it won't be just Amy and I... our friend Andrew might be joining us!! AHHH SO FUN! I will update you later when there is more news.

The Importance of Family.
Okay guys.... I know you may not think this right now, but family is the most important thing in your life.
Growing up, its easy to feel like your family is embarrassing and like they are out to ruin your "reputation" but when you get to where I am being in college and having to get more and more responsibilities, you learn that your family is actually pretty cool.
Of course I have always loved my family... but I just loved my friendships a lot as well and didn't balance that well. I still live in my parents house because of school and everything, but the day is getting closer and closer to when I have to move out! Can you say scary?!?!
Your family members are the people that are there for you no matter what the situation is. They will always be on your side and they will care for you deeply. They will always love you even when you think you have crossed the line from your previous fight. They are the people that will give you the best advice and will be your best friend when you need them.
Something that makes me definitely realize this is when my friends come home for break. I of course want to see them but I know that they want to see their family more and that is something that is super important. Its like the saying, "You don't know what you got until its gone." Its easy to just brush off the family events and hanging out with your family because you figure you will see them when you get home. But those moments matter as well!
Just something that came to my mind randomly! I warned you I would be super random!
Also, my friends are all coming home and it makes me so happy!

Compassion.
With it being the time of giving, I have been thinking a lot about how to help others who are in need. A lot of us are very fortunate and have a place to call home with a family that is able to take care of us. There are others, however, that do not get that luxury. They are constantly worrying where they will sleep, what they will eat, or if they will be safe.
At my work, we have adopted a family in need and they have requested what they want for christmas. You would think that they would want something profound and big since someone else will be helping out, but each of the members asked for such simple things. Jewelry, Leggings, Sweaters.... things that we take for granted because we have easy access to it.
I am a college student so I am definitely not a billionaire haha! But I felt compelled to help out this family. I do have a job that gives me some spending money when I want to get things. So instead of trying to get things that I don't need for myself, I decided to give back to others that deserve more than they are able to get.
I chose the daughter that wanted some jewelry and I went out on a mission to find the best jewelry that there is. I found some of those bracelets that have different characters on them that are really popular right now. I went to Rue 21 and found a couple bracelets, a necklace and some hair accessories! I wanted this little girl to have jewelry that I would even like, not just some that I thought would be good enough.
Its important to give back to our community and to help those that are around us. When I think about this, I think of the movie Pay It Forward. It is about a little boy who doesn't have the best life. He has to make a project for school that targets something he could do in real life. He comes up with the Pay It Forward project. He finds a man randomly and helps him by giving him some food and some shelter for a bit of time. He tells the man that he needs to pay it forward to the next person he meets. No matter how big or how small, the boy wants him to help in some way. Later on in the movie, the boy is tragically killed trying to save someone from getting bullied and his mom is left with no one with her. At the end, a bunch of people gather at his house and they give their support to the family because the boy made an impact. He got people to pay it forward and to think about others. I literally cry every time I watch this movie.
Tomorrow, I am going to an event called the Jingle Jam. We had our rehearsal and when I was there they had their theme of Compassion. There are skits and different things that happen in the show and while I watched, it really made me think about what I am doing in my life and how I can help others. I want to Pay It Forward to anyone I can.
Give back to others that need it most.
Until next time,

Who Needs Sleep Anyways?!
So its that wonderful time of the year! Christmas! Who doesn't love christmas??
I wish that I could be talking about that right now but unfortunately there is something else that is happening around this time of the year!
FINALS!!
WOOO!
SO FUN
NOT.
Finals bring up so many emotions and feelings. It tests how long we can stay awake with our eyes glued to the screen, showing the paper that is due the next day. It makes us learn how to push the tears back that we have been holding in for so long because we don't know what else to do. It also puts us in a grumpy mood that makes us like that snickers commercial. Basically everyone should just stick to themselves during finals week.
I would like to say that it gets easier, but every semester we get the awesome schedule of how many papers and finals await us at the end of the semester.
I have found that the best way to make finals week not so stressful is to find a hobby or some way to bring some fun into the week! I find that dancing gives me that for sure! I will put my headphones in and start choreographing a dance because lets be real... When your emotions are on a crazy roller coaster, you will probably get a good storyline or dance out of it. haha!
Finals are stressful. They suck the life out of us college students and take away what we all love most.. Sleep.
But something it won't take away is the feeling when we remember that christmas is right around the corner and we get to go on break from it all. :)
Until next time,

Thankful for What's in Front of Me.
So I know I literally just posted something but I have to keep active in this and I have more thoughts to share!
I am taking this time to say thank you to all the people that have entered my life. I have been blessed with so many amazing people that are there for me no matter how crazy I am. It's a wonderful feeling and one that I wouldn't trade for anything.
SO the things that I am thankful for:
I am thankful for finding what I love to do and finding groups that accept me for how I am. I am in a dance group called Elluminate and it is so rewarding and life changing. We all get along so well and we are there for each other in every situation. That's hard to find. Andy Burroughs who is the leader has given me something I will never be able to repay her for. She has given me the ability to dream and to find what my passion is. She is so inspirational to me and I am so thankful for her!
But it doesn't end there! I also have recently joined a dance studio in Greeley that is run by Carissa Gabrielle Baros and I can't even describe how much I love it there. Everyone there is so amazing and talented! They all are so humble and they welcomed me right from the beginning and I just love them all! Carissa has helped me see what I am made of and that I can chase my dreams even when they are scary! She is also very inspirational and I can't even believe that God has given me such amazing women in my life.
I am thankful for my family that is always looking out for whats best for me. They don't always agree with what I want to do with my life, but they will always support me! #BestFamilyEver
I am thankful for a strong friend group that has been there from the beginning. People say it is hard to stay friends with those from high school but I am proving that wrong! Even though we are all at different places in the world and we don't see each other everyday, I am always there for them and they are there for me. Also, I am thankful for friends that share the passion for wanting to work at Disney. It makes it even better when I get to share that passion with others I know!
I am thankful for the people I have met at college. Oh my goodness. I can't even tell you how awesome the people are at UNC. This semester especially I have made so much friends that are in my dance classes and just around UNC in general and it is so great. I never thought I would meet such loving and wonderful people, but God has proven me wrong!
I could go on and on about what God has blessed me with but that would get boring for you. I wanted to share my examples with you because I wanted to open your mind up to taking a step back and looking at what makes you thankful. Thanksgiving is the day where we mainly do this, but I think its even better to recognize it all the time. God has placed many people in your life and he has given you the opportunities for a reason. Take the time to look at whats in front of you and be thankful for it! It makes life even more beautiful and it makes you happy. And who doesn't love to be happy?!?
Something I also want to share with you is that taking risks is a good thing. I started a YouTube channel and that is such a big thing for me because I am letting people view it that I have never even met and it will be easy for them to judge me. But I knew that challenging myself to that will make me a better person. And it has. It has given me confidence and has given me hope for what I can do in the future! Take a risk! It will be worth it!
Okay thats all!

Growing up... And other things.
Hi there!
So I have had many blogs that I have been working on but I never shared them with anyone. If you were able to ever find it.. Cudo's to you! haha! I started this new one because I wanted it to tie in to my other social media sites that I am involved in. I have a Youtube Channel and I post video's every monday! (Go check it out...https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiu1QkCMGI1yzhD5wS3dq2A?spfreload=10)
This blog is something that I want others that are my age and even others who are not be able to connect with. We all are growing up and learning what life is all about so why not do it together??
I am currently a Sophomore in college at University of Northern Colorado and I am studying Communication and getting a Dance minor. So random! I know haha! I want to go out in the world and share what my talents are with other people. Maybe open a dance studio or dance at Disneyland, or maybe just work in a business and work with Marketing. ( I hope its the first one though).
Now to being all inspirational and stuff...
Something that will always be happening in each of our lives is that we are all growing up and changing. There is no way of avoiding that. Along the way, you will meet people that impact you in different ways. And with that you will have to learn what you want for yourself and what makes you happy.
I have changed so much in my life. I have met people that have been wonderful and so amazing, and I have lost them as well. I have learned what it feels like to loose a friend too soon and how to grieve it when I was just a high schooler. I have found what makes me happy and who makes me happy. I have learned to confront the problems I face rather then sweeping them under the carpet hoping they won't show.
Life teaches you so much everyday and even when it feels like it is the scariest thing ever.. It helps you grow.
You will have friends in your life that will change as well and take a different path then you. You will grow apart and maybe even stop being friends on a bad note, but if you are unhappy because of it, that is something that you have to fix and confront. Its hard but it is so rewarding.
Life is an amazing gift. God has presented us with so much to discover and learn and its waiting for each of us to take that step. There are no rules to how your life is suppose to be. We are not being forced into things. We can take control and pursue what we have always wanted. I have started posting dance videos on my channel and it is suuuuuppppppeeeeerrrrr scary. At the same time, it makes me happy and filled with joy that I have got to the point in my life where I am okay with letting people in and seeing that vulnerable part of me. Of course I am not the best dancer out there, but I am me and I want people to see the real me and see what I love. People are wonderful and they will be there for you when you need them the most and I have found the best group of people out there.
Okay! That was just something on my mind and I wanted to share it! haha!
So a little update, even though we just met each other, is I am actively pursuing my dream of dancing at Disney. So with that, there is an audition next month that me and one of my best friends Amy are thinking about going to. We have gone to one before and even though we were not there that long, we still had an amazing experience. We haven't fully committed to the trip yet but you never know!! I will update you all when there is more on this!
Thanks for reading my randomness. There will 100% be more of that in every post because I am a very random person. WOOO!
I hope you stay along for the ride!
